• Hi, I am building a business website and I would like to add the ability for customers to create personal accounts that have their specific account information. sort of akin to a bank’s website where you can log into your personal account and view your account details. What do I need to do to accomplish this? thanks, Rakaan.

  • Typically those who endeavor into such commercial businesses have advanced degrees, are vetted, and are then hired by a well supervised commercial entity.

Ok … and yet my question stands how do you allow customers to create personal accounts for themselves?

SwansonPhotos – How do you know what type of degree Rakaan has or wether or not he or she is vetted? In addition, what does that matter? Even those with “advanced degrees” know that support forums are where you go to get support, not to be admonished for not having the credentials to work on an open source website platform. Please note the sarcasm.

Quite possibly the dumbest response I have ever read. Congratulations.

Rakaan – I am curious as to how to make this happen as well and will keep you posted when and if I find a solution.

    Howdy Rakaan,
There are a few plugins that help you add extra fields for users to fill out. One decent one is:

Let me know if that doesn’t do the trick.

    Take care,
    Paul
