  • Hello studioperis,

Sorry you’re having trouble with your WordPress installation. Check your wp-config.php and pluggable.php (inside wp-includes) files and make sure there are no extra spaces before the opening php tag or after the closing php tag in those files.

    Hope this helps!

Sorry, but it has not worked. You will need to install WP?. I would like to redo the whole installation again.

    Hello studioperis,

It sounds like that may be the best plan. You may also want to download a fresh copy of WordPress:

the installation was successful on WP3.2.1. I have another question:
for the installation of a new issue e-commerce tip, I need to install the plugin wp-e-commerce.3.8.7.4?
    thanks

    Hello again sudioperis,

I’m glad to hear you were able to install WordPress. I would recommend updating to version 3.3 as it’s always best to run the latest version.

Are you having trouble installing the WP e-Commerce plugin or did need instructions for how to install a plugin? Here are the instructions for installing a plugin through your WordPress dashboard:

I installed WP e-commerce without problems. My question is whether I can install a Spanish version?.
Now I can upgrade to WP3.3 to WP3.2 from my desk. If I say upgrade, do not lose any data?. I will not have performance problems as before?
    thanks

    Hello studioperis,

I looked into the information for the WP e-commerce plugin and the features list:

    • Multi-lingual
    • Support for multiple currencies

So, it’s not that you need to install a different version of the WP e-commerce plugin, you will simply want to change the language using one of these methods:

    http://getshopped.org/news/wp-e-commerce-in-your-language/

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wp-e-commerce-no-language-chooser?replies=16

Without knowing what theme and/or plugins you are using, it’s difficult to predict if there will be any issues updating to WordPress. The best way to go about updating is to first make a backup of your database and files, switch to the default theme, disable all plugins, then update WordPress. When you begin the update process, if you receive any notifications to update themes are plugins, perform those updates first. Once you have updated to WordPress 3.3, you can then switch back to your regular theme, test your site and then begin activating your plugins (one by one is recommended) to make sure they are compatible with the update.

    Hope this helps!

The theme is Origami, from ThemeForest. They say it is compatible with 3.3.
My fear is that when you update, have the same problems that when you install version 3.3 directly. I have as many hours of FTP client, jejejjej.

    thanks

    Hello again studioperis,

If the theme isn’t compatible with 3.3, you may want to consider switching themes. Since that is a paid theme, if you do have any issues with compatibility, you will want to contact the theme developer.

Good luck with your new site!
