Using a static page for home -> how can I now view 'latest posts'?

as you know, wordpress by default shows the most recent posts on the homepage.

I need the home page to be a static page (which i did), and for the ‘most recent’ posts to fall under a link called ‘blog’.

so: http://www.mysite.com/blog
FYI, wordpress is installed on the root directory (www.mysite.com)

How can i do this? thanks!!
