[Plugin: ThemeFuse Maintenance Mode] wp-cron.php question when using backup plugin

I am using a backup plugin called BackupBuddy. The plugin was not functioning properly and backups were stalling. I contacted BackupBuddy’s support and they asked if I was running a maintenance mode plugin, I said yes.

They said maintenance mode plugins often block wp-cron.php from functioning properly and added this….

” if your maintenance mode plugin allows exclusions then add wp-cron.php – sometimes if you are confident to poke in the code you can add it yourself even if there is no admin option to do it (Theme Fuse plugin is one such example when I last looked)”

Can you help me exlude wp-cron.php? Thanks
