The recurrence implemented in the Ajax Event Calendar is based on the date, i.e. if you have an event occurring on Jan 8/12 and want it to reoccur monthly, it will recur on Feb 8/12.
However, this is not the way that most events reoccur. They generally recur on a specific day of the week, e.g. on the second Tuesday of the month.
So unfortunately, the implementation of recurring events appears to have been done incorrectly, i.e. it is not particularly useful.
This is important.

I agree. The lack of this basic feature (e.g. Event occurs on 1st Saturday of each month) means that this plugin doesn’t work for me and I have to find another solution. A shame, because otherwise I like it a lot.
Yes, I have a similar issue where I need to have classes scheduled Monday – Saturday, but not on Sunday. There is no option, other than manually creating a weeks worth of appt’s. I would like to be able to have the option to have a repeat event every week from date A to date B or at a minimum be able to copy/clone the first week and just drag and drop it onto subsequent weeks. If anyone has suggestions for the time being, I would be very appreciative.
