   When ever i set the archive type to weekly ( wp_get_archives('type=weekly') ) and turn on permalinks, the links are still parsed out as dynamic links (?m=2006&w=16). When using monthly or daily archives the links are static and permalinks (htaccess) works fine. Any ideas on what the problem could be our how to fix?

   update your permalink structure after the changes
