Hi, I wanted to share, I am getting an error message when trying to do a bulk delete within DASHBOARD>POST. I tried all browser, getting same for all. If I DO NOT select all and only a few POSTs and choose the BULK delete option, it works fine.
DOES NOT occur when trying to delete permanently in BULK once POSTS are in the “TRASH” area. Thanks

Error Message: “The website encountered an error while retrieving http://xxxx. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

HTTP ERROR 500 (internal server error): an unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.”

  • This is only on 3.4?

I don’t think you’ll find any support for 3.4 at the moment… it’s pre-alpha even. There isn’t even a scope set for it or anything yet…

Hi, I was trying to help out with the Beta Testing, let me know where I should update the Beta Developers? I am not persay looking for an answer, but wanted to share the error with beta team. Let me know where to post these types of errors for BETA only. Thanks

Wait, do you mean the plugin, or the actual beta version of WP?

For WP, this is definitely the right place. All I meant was that 3.4 isn’t in beta, or even alpha… and was checking if this error was only in 3.4 and not 3.3 as well.

If only 3.4 it’s understandable, features won’t be ready for testing and comment so early in the game.

Up until this morning, there wasn’t a whole lot to 3.4 so I’m not really sure this was related to 3.4

so to make sure, I will continue to write up here on any errors I find regards to 3.4 alpha?

Absolutely! This is where that goes. Once traction is gained, and development starts happening! It’s always good to keep an eye on:
    http://wpdevel.wordpress.com/
To be up to speed on development

    And also
    http://core.trac.wordpress.org/
Is the place to enter definite bugs, especially when a new version truly moves into alpha and on into beta or RC

westii (the developer of this plugin, one of the lead developers), should chime in here

the plugin looks slightly stupid at present its config page appears on the tools menu of all sites in a multisite config (theres not tools menu on the network dashboard) surely this should appear on the network dashboard

another gripe is that while WP dev is in hiatus until 3rd week in jan, the plugin will happily “UPDATE” you from 3.3.1 to 3.3-latest thus undoing the security bug fix of 3.3.1

those links to the development blog <wpdevel.wordpress.com> and TRAC should possibly appear on the plugins config page and anyone interested should consider being signed up to the mailing list for dev blog site updates
