Site loading slowly

I was trying to tweak the background of my site, but not having much luck, so I switched the background CSS code back to how it was originally (at least I thought I did). Now it is taking longer to load, so I think something may be wrong. I am using the dark essence wordpress theme. Would someone be able to tell me why my site is taking a long time to load?
