Love the plugin! To better suit our client’s needs, I am hacking into the PHP files and replacing the strings for “Categories:” and “Tags:” to change them to more user-friendly “Audience:” and “Location:”

This will probably have to be re-done every time i update the plugin. It would be handy to have a setting on the admin menu to set the display label for Categories and Tags, so that no matter what a users is using as their taxonomy, the display can be tailored to better suit the audience’s expectation. (most people looking for an event don’t know or care what a category or tag are, and would more likely want to filter results by location, etc).

    thanks,

    kris

I’d suggest you to edit the language file?

Location filtering is a great idea, thanks for suggesting it. We will add it in feature releases. You can track the progress here: http://trac.the-seed.ca/ticket/188

even better would be the option to turn off both “categories” and “tags”. I definately agree w/ above that allot of users care not for cats or tags.

Hello, I’m also trying to change the labels displayed for Categories and Tags in the filter above the calendar.
    Which file should I edit?
    Thanks for your help,
    Francesco
