• Hello all,

I am using Magic Fields 2 with a new project because it’s nice support of image uploads etc. I am having one problem and was wondering if there is a solution. The site has a parent category Teams with Mens and Womens as children. I created a new post type for Teams and added the custom fields using MF. How I usually display all of the various posts is to display a custom archive.php page using custom permalinks. So to display all of the posts in the category teams I’d go to URL http://myurl.com/teams and for one of the children http://myurl.com/teams/mens. This isn’t working with MF even though the custom posts are in the categories.

Any idea what is going on here? I could just not use a custom post type and just use custom post, but I’d like to keep things organized so backend editors aren’t seeing all the extra custom fields unless they are specifically working on that category.

    Thanks!
