[Plugin: Advanced Access Manager] Reorganize menu items doesn't work

    Hi,
    this is realy great plugin! I hope is should be base module for every WP site 🙂

    Afterwards i have problem or i misunderstood principle of Main menu. There is Reorganize button. When I press it, it allows me to change order of items, but after save they are on same position.
    Currently i using Members plugin (by Justin Tadlock) to create another roles and Admin Menu Editor for reorganize menu for this roles.
    I thinks your plugin could replace both of them, but i’m little bit messed with that menu order.

    Can you explain it to me please ?

    Hi Radovan,
    Looks like you are doing something wrong. Or, probably, you don’t understand the feature.
    First of all, you can specify different menu order for different user roles. So make sure you selected a proper User Role before Reorganizing.
    Second, when you save an order, you should have a choice – Apply order to all User Roles or just for current?
    And only after that you have to login with current Role and it should show you already reorganized menu.
    There is no possibility to customize the menu order for user with Super Admin Role. You can create one more user with Administrator Role and customize it, but Super Admin is unique.

    Hi,

    i get it. Of course, with other roles it is works 🙂

    There is little bit messy for me and for another ones i thinks.
    In single-site WordPress instance there is not any super admin role. This role is only for multi-site wordpress.
    Maybe there should be possible to change order of menu items for super-admin.
    I think if some companies have specific packages of WP (brand specific or product specific), they have also own user experience for sections created by plugins or just reordered by ownself, etc.
    It is my opinion.

    Oh, and one little idea to create more robust menu ordering. It will be fine if user should add/delete separator like in Admin Menu Editor.
