Drop down menu

    Do I have to use plug-ins to create a drop down menu? I need a sub menu for some of my pages. What does it mean if I create a new page and chose a parent for it, where does it go? I can see it in my admin panel, but it’s not on the website anywhere in the menu.

    Check if your theme supports custom menu click on Appearance>>>Menus

    It does, but it also says it supports only 1 menu? I know in these theme can be use drop down menus, I just can’t figure out how to do it so far.

    Create your pages as normal and once you created the pages you click Appearance>>>Menus you create a menu and save.
    You then add the pages in menu
    and drag and arrange them as you wish.
    To make a drop down you drag slightly to right under parent page

    You should have box on top left with primary menu select the menu from dropdown and save

    and save the menu now you will see the new menu on your website

    Thank you so much!!! I did see you can put pages to the right, didn’t realize what it meant at the time :-)Now I get it!
