'Duplicate' thread

    ‘esmi’ just decided to delete one of my threads as it was a ‘duplicate’..

    The first thread was 20 words long and the second was a request for additional feature with a huge paragraph of text, url examples and htaccess examples.

    For some reason you decided to delete the longer thread #post-2470314

    and now I’ve lost all of what I wrote?

    Could you please send me the text I wrote as obviously time went into creating the detail?

    The topic was deleted because it was identical to the topic you already had open: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/remove-page-from-paging

    No it wasn’t, that topic is one line of text for hack support which clearly noone can answer.

    The second topic was a thread half a page long with url examples of what I wished to achieve with demos of the .htaccess codes I’d tried.

    The thread was a request on if it would be possible to add such a feature to the options settings tab in the future.

    I’m guessing you have no backups of deleted posts hence ignoring the reply?

    ‘esmi’ also deleted one of my topic for which I really need help and I was not able to find any similar topic while using search .

    I always appreciate the help I get from WordPress forum .But its time consuming to write a new topic again which i had already written before just because it was deleted for no genuine reason .

    One more thing I want to say ….I love esmi’s hairstyle 🙂

    Please keep in mind that Esmi (like all of us moderators) are volunteers with full time jobs that can pull us away from helping in the forums for days at a time. She’s probably just busy with paying work. We’re sorry the

    silver89 – Your post … Its really iffy. Yes, you’re making a request, but that content really fits well in your existing post, since it’s adding on to the information there and could help someone help you out better. It’s a much better explanation of what you’re trying to do and what you’ve done to attempt to fix it. I copied the content into your other post.

    pranav034 – If you’re talking about the posts about how WP is converting every linebreak (\n) to br in html at front end … Those are duplicate topics. Post followups in your own thread – http://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-is-adding-extra-br-tags-after-every-html – Otherwise you just make it harder for anyone to find you and help you.
