Hi there,

after having read http://wpmututorials.com/plugins/shardb/ I take that there are lots of people looking for a clean migration path towards making use of sharDB ?

Personally, I would suggest to look into the excellent “WordPress Move” plugin which also provides fairly advanced support for migrating databases: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-move/

The plugin used to be a Google Summer of Code project, it’s pretty well documented: http://gsoc2011.wordpress.com/tag/wordpress-move/

The post you linked to on wpmututorials is two years old. SharBD includes a migration script.

You can review the development log of any plugin hosted on wordpress.org via the development log link in the sidebar on the plugin info pages.
