[Plugin: Postie] fonts and type sizes spilling over into sidebar

Postie is terrific. I’m having a problem, though, with fonts and type sizes.

Depending (I presume) on how the e-mail system is setting its fonts and sizes, what gets posted can be all over the map. Sometimes it changes if you open the post for editing in the WP rich text editor and then save it.

The more serious problem is that those changes don’t seem to be cleanly closed out at the end of the post. My theme (F2) has a sidebar. When a post that has been processed by Postie is shown, the fonts and type sizes on the sidebar can be messed up.

I’m thinking this is due to how a given e-mail system renders font and size changes (HTML & CSS) combining with how Postie processes and interprets the messages.

Any ideas? I’m most concerned about the spillover to the sidebar, though it would be great to have consistency in the post itself.
