Akismet not catching spam

    3.2.1 WordPress install, with 2.5.3 Akismet.
    Nothing has changed in the network, or in this system. For the past 3 or 4 days, We’ve received 50+ spam that Akismet did not catch.
    The history for each of the comments indicates “Akismet cleared this comment”. I’ve seen no indication of a problem on the Akismet site.

    Anyone have any ideas?
