Rename page permalink to an previously existing link

    Hi pcather,

    Yes, since you’ve removed the other page, you can simply edit the slug for your new Calendar page. You can do this from either the edit screen for that page or when viewing all pages, select Quick Edit and make edit the slug change there.

    You have to go in and delete the page from the Trash as well. Deleting the page will prevent it from showing up in your active pages but it technically still exists within WordPress.

    Any new page you try to create with the /calendar naming convention will have numbers added on to the end of it.

    Thanks so much guys. I wasn’t able to make the quick edit before. Now that I know about deleting the trash. I was able to make the quick edit perfectly. Appreciate your time.
