Strangest Time Out Problem EVER – Somebody help

    OK, 4 authors and 1 editor for a magazine site. All authors write articles and send them to the editor. She posts the articles. However, one of the four authors articles can’t be posted because the process times out whenever the editor tries to post a new article. The other three authors’ articles post without any problems.

    She has also forwarded me the articles and I can post them without any problems. However, if she attempts to edit the article after I’ve posted it, the process times out too.

    What is going on here?

    If you log in with her username and password, do you have the same problem?

    If you create a new test user for her, does she have the same problem when logged in as that test user?

    These two troubleshooting steps may help narrow down the issue.

    I have logged in with her un/pw and had no trouble posting. I also created a test user and assigned it as editor, posting without any problems with that account as well.

    If that’s the case, perhaps it’s a problem with her:

    – browser – have her try a different browser
    – ISP or computer – have her try from a different location, with a different ISP and computer
