On some of the sites I used this plugin, the individual links come out wrapped in code tags. Is this a normal behavior?

Weird thing is, on other sites it doesn’t do this, and I can’t tell why that is. I tried disabling all other plugins and also switch to default themes and no change…

Although it’s a fairly minor issue, any help is appreciated.

Its not normal behaviour no, not sure why you would be experiencing this either, there is no code tags in my plugin so its not my plugin, but must be something specific to your install.

I also have the same issue here. CODE tag get inserted everywhere. any clue yet ?

I never did figure it out. I ended up using a simple javascript to strip away all the code tags from the page…

I experienced this issue due to literally following the instructions on the ‘installation’ page by the plugin provider, which under ‘Display the sitemap on a page or post‘ says:

Give your page a title I suggest Sitemap, and put [wp-realtime-sitemap] into the wysiwyg box.

The wysiwyg box is specifically mentioned so I figured it was required for plugin functionality (I normally work exclusively in the html view).

Anyway, on my install at least, I was able to fix the problem simply by popping over to the HTML view when editing my ‘sitemap’ page and removing the <code> and </code> wordpress had ever-so-helpfully added automatically to the page surrounding the [wp-realtime-sitemap] text.

I’ll change the instructions to indicate that you can use either then, sorry for the confusion.
