I can see where it says ” <p class=”slideshow-caption”> text here </p> but I just don’t know what to do with this.

I have this same question: Where is the styling for this element?

    Thanks!

    Hi!

In the plugin folder, there’s a stylesheet that loads –
    wp-content/plugins/portfolio-slideshow/css/portfolio-slideshow.min.css

where you can set additional rules.

I think it’s better to add any custom styles to your theme, so they won’t be overwritten when you update the plugin, but it’s up to you!

    Hi Dalton,
That’s true – if you specify your rules with !important they will override the slideshow styles. In my theme, all the plugin scripts and styles load below the main theme stylesheet.

rustyelf, did you ever also find out exactly how to move the image caption to the top of your image? I also needed to know but didn’t see a suggestion for that part of your question posted yet.

Same here – although I want to move mine to the bottom left – and maybe increase the font size a little.

Bit lost with where to start.
