Feeds Show full post, not just Excerpt as I wish

    I am placing short excerpts in my posts’ excerpts fields, but the RSS feed is still showing the entire post, not the excerpt. I’ve looked around the CP and don’t see any options that tell it to use the excerpt or not. So, I’m lost.

    What do I have to do to get WP to use the excerpt for the feed?

    I’m on WP 2.0.2

    Hey have you tried selecting “summary” for the syndication feeds in the reading options of the wp dashboard? I’m not sure but this may generate the excerpt and not the full feed. (apologies if you have already tried this)
