   I'm not using wordpress' tinMCE. can i delete those files? i don't need them

   Unless you are very pushed for disk space, leave them?
   Other plugins or parts of the code that are not obvious may hook into functions there so leaving is probably the best option.

   Actually, I remove the TinyMCE stuff on most of my WP installations. As long as you keep your deletions to what's in wp-includes/js/tinymce/ there should be no problems.
