Creating a data repository

Hi there,

I am relatively new to wordpress.org, and having just set up a self-hosted domain, I would like to take advantage of some of my extra sever capacity to provide a data repository capability for my users. Is there any plugin that would support the set up of a community data repository within my site, providing users the ability to upload and share files within an ad hoc directory structure? Ideally there would be housekeeping capabilities, such as admin oversight functionalities.
