I haven’t tested Audiobar with multisite installations yet… Noted in the to-fix-list.
Thanks for giving it a try! For now I can only recommend to use it for single site installations only, or wait for an upgrade that solves the problem.

I encounter the same problem, not on a multisite installation.
Wherever I navigate in the site, I’m bounced after an instant to home page.
Moreover, a cannot see the bar, nowhere.
I vas very happy about this plugin, since I need to insert a background music in a site, and I cannot find the way to.
Please, could you tell me what’s the matter with Audiobar?

Hi, I have the very same problem as inesm.
It jumps back to home page after a couple of seconds.
But i can see the bar, because i have put a post with a link, i guess.
In the installation notes i read that the plugin needs to be “installed”: I have put the audiobar folder into the plugin folder, and then I activated it.
Can I help in some way to find a solution?

Hi! Sorry for the delays. Carlo and I have been working hard on audiobar and sometimes forum posts slip through the cracks.
Can you both provide links to your sites and note which version of wordpress you are using?
And are either of you using Jetpack? There have been a few cooperation problems between the two plugins.

hey there.
at first: cool plug-in, it is what i needed.
but as written before: i switched the single installation wordpress site from local apache to my host – and its bouncing me after a second back to my last post. the bar is also gone – no music anymore.
offline it still works fine! just after transfer the site: pow.
tried to de-install the plugin/ database/ cache offline to put it online again – same prob.
dunno what to do anymore.

I can’t discern what could be the problem. The only thing I can think of is that your host doesn’t allow certain permissions that audiobar needs. What host are you using now?
I will definitely forward this to Carlo and see what insight he can bring us.

Its a Switzerland client (.ch) and the hoster over there are odd.
I changed the hoster to a german one and fine 🙂
Tried to resolve the problem by my own – but I think that was it.
It works, its well, its still a very nice plug in.
