[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Calendar Mini Gird

I have the free 2.0.1 version installed. Does the mini grid shortcode work for this version? When I put this code in a text widget it just shows the code:
[tribe_calendar_mini_grid()]
Am I using it correctly?
