    Hi,

    First thanks for an awesome plugin. I have used it a few times with success (not completely pain free but usually a php upgrade or memory increase fixed the issue).

    Now I am getting a gateway timeout error whatever value I set in the configuration. I have set the memory limit in php.ini to 256M and in the corresponding plugin configuration. I have tested the default 300s timeout , 400s, 500s, 600s all with the same results. Also I have upgraded php to 5.3.

    “An error occurred while creating a package! Please try again. If the problem persits please submit a support ticket.”

    Hmmmm, maybe I should submit a ticket eh? Here is the debug log:

    03:47:42 log:duplicator_dirSize=>exclusion list: /u/a/mydomain/www.mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads
    03:47:48 log:act.duplicator_system_check=>content_size: 382.52MB
    03:47:48 log:act.duplicator_system_check=>create new package

    Gateway Time-out

    The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.

    I can always copy the files manually via ftp if required. Is it possible to just backup and move only the database by excluding all the wordpress directories?

  • Hey martinhurford,

    It looks like your actually having some issues at the server network layer, you might need to contact your hosting provider…

    Yes I guessed as much. They did increase the memory for me but it still didn’t work. Oh well. Thanks for what I still think is a great plugin…..when used with a good host!
