• Hello

I am using Codium Extend 1.1.3 theme and when I click off my homepage it disappears and I can only get it back, by clicking the “back” button. Do you know how i can remedy this?

    Thanks!

    Vicky

When I first installed Codium Extend, the Menu’s HOME link was hard coded into the PHP and difficult to customize. With an upgrade, HOME vanished from the PHP and therefore required me to edit the Menu from the Control Panel to re-add HOME.

At the same time, tweaks I had made to the CSS file went *poof* too, so I started using an old Add to Header plugin to put my changes to CSS, JavaScript, etc., outside the theme code.

I should really implement a child theme as well, but I still need the Add to Header to override other plugin style sheets and such.

    Hope this helps.

I finally figured this one out. I created a custom menu, titled it “Custom Menu” and then hit “select all” for the pages. I then added a custom link with a label, “blog”, and saved it all. It works beautifully.
