• I don’t really understand the purpose of this plugin when WP already has this feature out of the box. Maybe its just a new thing?

The reason for me asking, will this plugin hide certain menu items on certain pages? In other words, I want to hide certain pages that are in my menu items while in the shopping cart. Should I use the Exclude tag only for this in the area where I can add an extra field?

    Thanks.

As far as I am aware the functionality of this plugin is not included in WordPress as standard.

If you are not using a custom menu you can create pages which are linked to somewhere other than in the main menu (for example a terms & conditions page with a link in the footer) which you can exclude from appearing in the main menu by deselecting the checkbox that this plugin adds to the edit page screen.

    What cube colour said. 🙂

The purpose of this plugin is clear and needed.

However, it is bugged as it bugs out the child_of parameter inside get_pages().

I do not recommend this plugin to anyone!

    Hi Harryson,

Happy Holidays, and thank you for letting me know about the problem.

Can you please provide the following extra information and I’ll take a look at any problem you’ve found:

    * What you expected to happen
    * What actually happened (i.e. the problem)
    * Steps to reproduce the problem
    * Also, preferably, whether the problem still occurs in a WordPress install which uses one of the official themes (TwentyTen or TwentyEleven) and no other plugins activated

    Thanks!
