   When i try to change the configuration of the discussions, the page does not load and a Forgiven page appears. my hosting is in http://www.awardspace.com if it counts on something

   To get hold on this, some questions:
   What page do you not see?
   What "Forgiven" does show up?
   Can you give us a link to your blog?

   I cannot see the discussions' option page: options-discussion.php (i think), the error is the Http error-403. it says that i'm not allowed to see the page...

   My guess is that your blog is newly installed, and that when you uploaded the WordPress files, probably using FTP, one or more files were missed.

   I'd check if some files are missing from the wp-admin directory, especially the options-discussion.php

   I have exactly same problem and I'm also using awardspace. I tried uploading wp-admin files again and set permission to 755 but it didn't help. Whats so different with discussion options compared to other options which works just fine?

   Wow! How strange can an SP be?
   Fine that it got a solution though, and thank for posting it here.
