Sorry, one more thing. Would prefer to reverse the sort order on the resume page. For example, my first job should be labeled “1” because it will always be my first job.
As it stands, I have to count up all the jobs I’ve had to make sure I get the ranking correct. Also, I have to go back and increment my jobs whenever I get a new one… if I ever get one! Arrrgh!

Regarding #1, I didn’t anticipate that problem, but can take a pass at it in a future release. the menu_order field should in theory set the order of the posts (available via a small box in the bottom right corner of the edit-position screen). I can set it to sort by default, but for now, you’d add &orderby=menu_order&direction=asc to the URL.
What do you mean by #2? The edit position page? Also, does drag/drop of sections not work on the options page?
Ranking is simply sorted, so I would number the first job 100, the job before that 90, etc. (or let things sort by the “to” date).
#1a – I could use the URL modifier, but I’m anticipating the user simply clicking through from the main resume page. I have solved the problem by modifying the publish dates for each job so they sort correctly, but that is a band-air rather than a solution.
#1b – The menu_order field will sort the jobs as you suggest, but I would suggest that the default order be reversed so that the oldest job is “1”, then next oldest is “2” and so on. At the moment, I have numbered my first job as “-1” and the second as “-2” in order for it to sort correctly.
#2 – Textbox is the wrong term. I am thinking about a small box (like the one you refer to on the edit-position screen) that would be displayed with each position on the /edit.php?post_type=wp_resume_position page and allow the use to re-order them inline.
I do see the drag/drop on the options page, but it didn’t seem to affect things on the main resume page.
