    Hi Guys,

Im doing a test run with Twenty Eleven theme and all going well so far. Put it up for w3c validation and 48 errors, first being Bad value EditURI for attribute rel on element link: Keyword edituri is not registered
second is Bad value Cart66Version for attribute name on element meta: Keyword cart66version is not registered Now I cant run thru all the errors but have done some digging and found that the theme is based on html 5!! the problem seems to be with the coding within the theme shell. Because im looking at optimising the SEO I feel im gonna have problems here. I have read that you can change some of the core coding but if I do an upgrade then it will just over write the code. Has anyone else had similar issues? and is there a work around for this.

    Any feedback greatly appreciated.

    Mark

  • HTML 5 is still a draft specification – which means that it is subject to change. Also, the HTML validator is experimental – so may flag up false positives.
