    Hi Stanley,

    Thanks for the quick reply!
    Of course I tried these things before posting here on the forum,
    I for example tried different messages and just simple:

    TEST

    I also tried a number of different url links.

    Bottom-line, it is something else. Perhaps the theme or some settings,
    I dont know. Hope you can help me out.

    Thanks

    Check if you have this code in the footer section of your theme

    <? wp_footer(); ?>

    If you have that maybe there are conflicting plugins. You have to list the plugins here so I can help. Thanks!

    I looked for the section of code you said and I did not find it.

    The list of plugins that I use consist of:
    – 1 Flash Gallery
    – File Gallery
    – Google Analytics for WordPress
    – NextGEN Gallery Authors
    – No Comments On Pages
    – Pinoy Pop-up on Exit
    – TinyMCE Advanced

    One installed but not activated:
    – Social Media Widget

    Thanks!

    That code is supposedly basic and standard on all and any themes. If you can’t find it. Please put that code just before the closing body tag so it should now show:

    <? wp_footer(); ?>
    </body>
    </html>

    The plugin will NOT work without that line of code.

    I added the code and it worked!

    The only thing is that I removed that bit since it contained the credentials of the developer and: powered by wordpress

    But I dont want these things to show on my website. Is there a way around it?

    You should contact the theme developer for that.

    Ok I got it.

    Thanks a lot for the quick replying!
