Got the new password, but username not working?

I have re set my password, but now for some reason its saying that the username that I have isn’t working.
I have gone to my dashboard, user, and checked to make sure I was typing it in right, and I have been doing it right, so typed it in again, but still not working.This is really odd, I am logged into my Dashboard for blog, and can edit it with out issues.
Anyone able to help out?
