   Ok, so i've tried setting the wp-content/uploads folder to 777, and i've tried setting just the wp-content folder to 777 aswell, but it still wont allow me to upload images. Any ideas?

   Any sort of error message text you could share?

   make sure that the location of upload files is indeed that under options

   verify that your folders are in fact chmoded as you believe they are

   Under Options -> Miscellaneous, what do you have in the field for "Store uploads in this folder:"?

   Thank you, thank you, thank you! Well in the Options --> Misc, it was labelled properly, ie. wp-content/uploads, but I renamed anyway to the same thing, and then renamed the upload folder to the same thing aswell, and it seems to have donw the job. Now I can start playing with other things, and probably have more annoying questions, ah well, ya have to start somewhere.
