Creating New WordPress Section

    In WordPress under widgets are the available widgets that you drag into sections on the right.

    How do I create a new section on the right and reference it from the theme?

    Right now there is:

    right sidebar
    footer siderbar 1: left column
    footer siderbar 1: middle column
    footer siderbar 1: right column column

    I’d like to create:

    header and index page
