  • Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress 3.2 theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues.

Create a child theme for your customisations. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.

Yeah, sorry, it is a child theme I’m trying to modify. I should have mentioned that previously. So any ideas?

    Site url?

It’s being edited offline, so I’m afraid there’s no example to share. Just a description of the issue – when I upload an image to a post and choose to include a caption, an inline width of 209px is forced on the box surrounding both image and caption.

The fact it’s inline disables me from modifying the wp-caption CSS, or anything relative to it.
