Make three separate windows on homepage?

    Hi there. I recently posted on this forum and got great feedback, so I’m pushing my luck and asking another question.

    I’d like my homepage to have three separate window panes, not just the one main one build into WordPress. If you go to my site, you’ll see what i’m talking about.

    I’d like one window to link to a page for writing, one to link to a photo page and one to link to video work, with the ability to put a photo and a bit of text in each pane. Is there a way to do this, and arrange the windows to hover over their respective background element? What i mean is, the background is divided into thirds, each representing a different element of my journalism.

    Is this a ridiculous amount of work, or something easy to do?
