  • Same thing happens here. Nothing was hidden.

I am using WP version 3.2.1.

I found another plugin which worked:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/contact-info-options/

Profile Builder seems to be more advanced, but at the moment it is not able to hide the contact info as it should.

    Hello,
I tried it out just now on a localhost and on 2 separate servers and it works as intended (it hides the selected fields).
Have you tried uninstalling (NOT deleting it, but rather use the uninstall feature from WP) and downloading it again?
Or could you tell me which input-field have you tried setting to hidden?

    Please keep me posted.

I missed this important plugin information when I posted my previous posts:

this plugin only adds/removes fields in the front-end.
The default information-fields will still be visible(and thus modifiable) from the back-end

In the front-end “profile Builder” seems to work as it should, but I prefer to hide certain fields in the back-end and this is not possible with this plugin.

The reason for preferring back-end filtering is since I use the plugin Subscribe2 and want to hide not relevant fields for subscribers when they log in and customize which categories they are receiving mails for. The plugin Contact Info Options does the necessary job with the back-end filtering.

    Regards
