I don’t understand how to use this plugin. I put in the base url I want, but no matter what I get results like this:
    wp-static-html-output-1316581331\wordpress\index.php\category\news\index.html
That’s the name of the file. Which renders every link useless.
Shouldn’t this at least generate a folder category with folder news then the static html file inside?

  • Hi cslesh,

This is Leon Stafford, author of the plugin.

I’m sorry to hear you are having problems. Please rest assured most users are running the plugin fine, so hopefully it is a simple setting somewhere.

Does your WP site function fine on the development server? What platform and versions are you running this on? Local server or hosted web server?

Please email me for a more prompt response:

    Cheers,

    Leon

as a follow-up, the problem was how my mac was downloading the static files — it was using the structure for the name. Using a different computer solved the problem!
