[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] error 500 on update | WordPress.org

On installing the new version all my admin pages error out 500. If I manually delete the plugin all is ok. I do not see any errors in my php-fpm or nginx logs…

I’m having the exact same problem, but only when logged in as an Editor.

Administrator accounts work fine.

Is this a problem in the latest update?

Just fixed this for myself. Seemed to a PHP memory limit on the server.

I set define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’96M’); in wp-config.php.
