Wp 2.0 WYSI editor

Perhaps I’m completely stupid and I’m the only one confused bout this but I just have to ask. Isn’t there a way to browse and insert images with the built in WYSI editor FOR IMAGES UPLOADED PREVIOUSLY to WP. I just upgraded to WP 2.0 and unfortunately Mudbomb’s unbelievable editor doesn’t work yet ( I just saw right now that a new version is available from today!!!)and I’m stuck with Iimagebrowser or the built in WYSI. I’ve got no problem with uploads or inserting images but I’ve got tons of images on my site already and I can’t see them in the editor. I must not have had enough beers because I can’t figure out a way to see the images. And I don’t believe the editor could be so useless that all previous images can’t be seen.
