• Not straight away but soon after the latest WordPress update when editing or making a new post the text appears white, and when viewing past posts, all the text is in its HTML form. I can’t access HTML view either and the toolbar is gone except for options to insert images, media, video.

At first it was the plugin videogall that caused it. The next day is was videogall and WP Page Numbers, then the next it was the previous lot as well as All in one SEO pack and advanced excerpts. When deactivated the plugins in question it solves the problem.

I’ve tried the following without prevail:

    • Re-uploading a fresh copy of wordpress.
    • Re-uploading fresh copies of the troublesome plugins
    • I’ve separately uploaded fresh copies of the TinyMCE folder
    • It’s not a browser problem or cache problem
    • File permissions on wp-includes are right
    • I don’t have too many post revisions
    • Renaming .htaccess had no effect
    • Adding define( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false ); to wp-config

There’s probably a few more that I missed out but please post any ideas or more solutions, I’ve already read so many similar posts but none of the solutions worked. The user end of the site is working fine, only when adding or viewing posts admin side, does the problem occur.

    Thanks, Tom
