Which files do you need to chomd? My host had to chase a virus or something off the site and he reuploaded wordpress and the uplading thing doesn't work and I was wondering what do you chomed it to?

Your host is the only person who can advise. They know their server environment and the permissions they have set for directories and files.
While we could give numbers and names, that information could render your WordPress installation insecure - something which it would be irresponsible of us to do. -
