[Plugin: AnythingSlider for WordPress] AnythingSlider and MultiEdit Not Playing Well Together

    Hi there…was wondering if I could get some help. I have installed Plugin: Page.ly MultiEdit as well as AnythingSlider.

    The two aren’t playing nice with each other because of the short codes. AnythingSlider requires a short code in order to function [anything_slides].

    If I put in this short code into my page (any one of the MultiEdit tabs) it loads the slider but automatically disables the multiEdit from rendering.

    Note: I have checked Yes to the MultiEdit Short Code Support: and I have used the php echo do_shortcode in the themes custom_home page as well, which also disables the MultiEdit from rendering.

    I need the slider on top then was wanting to use mutliedit for the three tabs below it.

    update….

    It appears that MultiEdit and AnythingSlider DO work well together…well…somewhat….you have to call the AnythingSlider short code in the LAST MultiEdit block of the page. The AnythingSlider shortcode causes any MultiEdit content after it to not render.

    not very useful if you want a slider at the top of your page and columns of content under the slider.

    Anyone have any idea how to make AnythingSlider work if it is called before other content?

    What’s the exact name or link to the MultiEdit plugin?

    Jacob. Thanks so much. I sent you the theme with my phone (a download link) let me know if it didn’t go through.

    In wordpress I set the home page to point to the Home Page template (custom) with the main content area left blank. the short code for anything slider i put in the slider tap of page.ly MultiEdit.

    Hey matchstickmedia, hey Jacob,
    yesterday I posted my problem with the custom fields (content disappears when inserting the slider-shortcode to the content of a page)…

    Now I searched for the Page.ly MultiEdit Plugin, which does something similar, like I’m trying manually (having columns for content by custom fields on pages)…

    So maybe our problem is just the same or at least similar…

    If you find any solution, I’d be very thankful, if you could post it.
