• I just installed the SFC plugin. Made an application for my website, put in all the codes needed. I enabled the FB connect comment for non-registered users.

    Here’s what happens:

When I click the “connect with facebook” button, it’ll ask for facebook login, I login. the popup window closes. The “connect with facebook” button stays, there are no indications of if i’m connected with facebook or not. Also the regular form I had for un-registered users are still there, it could be pretty confusing. I tried to comment like this (without filling in the regular forms). it did take my facebook name. but the facebook URL doesn’t get added to the author URL, is this working as intended?

Anyways, any help would be appreciated.

actually. there are more problems. I got the buttons to properly show and hide. But right now after I log in. I won’t stay connected with the facebook after I refresh. After I refresh, the connect with facebook button and the rest of the input forms will appear again. Any ideas?

also, it seems to take all of the person’s URL info on his/her facebook. for example, if you have 3 websites listed under your websites in facebook. the link will be all three websites combined. And for some reason, when i connect with my own facebook, it doesn’t get and links even i have websites listed in facebook.

Staying connected after a refresh is something I eliminated for 1.0, since it speeds up page load. It may make a comeback in 1.1.

Also, Facebook only has one “website” field. This is something I discovered myself. If you try to put in multiple URLs, it just combines them, stupidly. No easy fix.

Thanks for the quick response sir.

shouldn’t it just link to the facebook profile page? or no?

but any idea why when i connect with my own facebook, it doesn’t get and links even though i have websites listed in facebook?

another bug maybe: when i click connect with facebook, the window pops up to login, if i hit cancel. it’ll hide all the original forms and says Hi!you’re connected with your facebook, even though i’m not.

could I get an idea of when 1.1 might be released?
