Can't find where or how to work with plugins once installed

    Hello,
    I have installed some plugins and activated them, but simply cannot find out now what to do. I can’t find where to go to configure them or how to use them.
    I’ve seen on some youtube tutorials that a pop up window should appear after you push the activate button saying “now activated and click here to configure.” I just get the “now activated” pop up. There is nothing saying “click here to configure”
    Any suggestions?
