• Hi,

Until today readers of the blog (www.roadtrooper.com) wrote comments on the posts, no problem. Today I checked the blog and somehow ALL of the posts happen to have password-protected comments!

All I did recently was I created aa test-post to check how “Private” and “Password Protected” posts look and work. And then I removed that test post.

And today visibility of my posts is set to “Public”, Comments “Allowed” but instead of the Comment form in the bottom of the post I have “This post is password protected. Enter the password to view comments.” and if I click on underlined “Comment 1” than nothing happens.

I already cleaned browsing data, cookies, etc. in both browsers and no progress yet…

Can anyone tell me what might have happened to the blog as I have no idea! Did I do anything wrong? Is it a bug? How can I fix this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards,
    Myra

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
