Yesterday I installed WP-minify. Today I found that frontpage slideshow was not correctly rendered: images and text were shown in a list instead of a slideshow.
I suspect it happens because of the js minification. Now I tried to put the 2 files, jquery-ui-interactions.js and jquery-ui-effects.js among the ones excluded from minification. Is there something else I can do to avoid this problem?

In the past I had the same problem after installing W3 Total Cache, which also does minification. How can I have W3 Total Cache and Frontpage Slideshow working together?

Js files are already minified… and quite all plugins that try to minify scripts are buggy…

Try to contact the author of WP-minify and ask him, at your choice :
    – to not minify already minified js files
    – to allow people to exclude files from minification.

I manged to work this out.
I changed the caching plugin and installed w3 total cache. It also handles minification, so I uninstalled wp-minify.
In the minify settings tab, there is an HTML minification section. The second option reads “Inline CSS minification”. If you enable it, frontpage slideshow doesn’t render.
I initially thought the problem was due to jquery files minification but I was wrong. Unitcking the above option allows you to minify frontpage slideshow jquery files withouth problems.
So, if you using other plugins, check for inline css minification and disable it to make frontpage slideshow working.
