• So, I see that this has been a long ongoing problem but have not been able to find an answer to it.

When I go into the plugin’s or themes and try to view them from the admin area, I get the following response:

Plugin problem: An unknown error occurred. Try again

I see that some people are suggesting that there is a problem at WordPress and that it is NOT a problem with my system.

?????? No verification from WP however, so I am still in the dark.

How do I solve this? What is the solution?

  • Don;t use that plugin at the moment. Perhaps it’s not compatible with the current version

I’m not using a plugin. This has occurred in two sites. One had NO plugins installed, it’s a brand new WP install. The other site has a few plugin’s but they are ALL 3.2.1 tested and OK’d.

On both sites, I did not get the errors right away and the error started on it’s own at the same time for both sites.

    I still need help. Anybody??

So, I am still having this problem. Have been unable to cure it.
I get “An unknown error occurred” for both plugins and themes.

    Really annoying.
