• Okay, not sure if this is a major undertaking in terms of coding, or if it is relatively straightforward. Here’s what I’m trying to accomplish…

I need to set up a gallery where site visitors can vote on their favorite photo as part of a contest. The “catches” are:

    1. People need to be able to register first by entering their name, email, etc. Only after they register can they vote.
    2. Can only vote for ONE image in the gallery.

NextGEN Gallery is already installed on the site, and NextGEN Gallery Voting seemed like a perfect match, but I’m not sure how it will allow for #1 above. Any thoughts/ideas would be most welcome.

    Thanks! 🙂

  • You mean like the option “Only allow logged in users”? Genius!

    Brilliant! 😉

    But seriously…

I think I put my question together before I had a good grasp of the issue here…YES, I can check that option for only logged in users, but my original post didn’t make this clear: I need a more elaborate form that will capture more than just a name and an email– name, email, phone, and address, at least. I’m looking around now for a way to capture more information by creating a custom WordPress register page with additional fields. Haven’t solved it yet.

Sorry if I insulted your plugin, not my intent.

    No insult taken 🙂
I’m glad the plugin does what you need (once you can get the nice sign up working)
